A lot of companies sell themselves on the fact that they are an authorized dealer of the products they sell. But what is an authorized dealer exactly? Why does it matter? And does it really benefit consumers to make sure they buy from one?
Short answer: Yes. It really does matter.
If things always worked out like we'd like them to, every item we purchased as consumers - like watches, headphones, TVs, toys, and computers - would work perfectly and without defects. They would function for as long as their normal useful life. There would be no glitches, crashes, or breaks. And we'd have no complaints.
But this is the real world.

Any, or all of these practices can void a manufacturer's warranty. Naturally, this is going to limit your chances of finding a resolution to whatever product issue you experience, especially if the unauthorized seller doesn't offer assistance either.
It's a frustrating, expensive, and unfortunate scenario that happens much more often than it should.
The bottom line? Do your research and when applicable, make your purchases from an authorized dealer. It's best way to protect your investment. These retailers are held to certain standards of practice and service that unauthorized companies are not. Plus, you can rest easy knowing that your item is covered by the manufacturer's full warranty, and that you'll have support after the sale is made.
Check with a company before you buy. And if the item you're buying is especially expensive or requires a significant level of support, check with the manufacturer for their list of dealers first.

Do Skullcandy Headphones Break Easily?
Since Skullcandy's rise to prominence as a major headphone brand, there has been a lot of debate online about whether or not their products break easily. Sennheiser, Sony, Panasonic, and other manufacturers are not nearly as friendly to audiophiles with comparable warranties.
Of course, Skullcandy could put these fears to rest by putting out new models with metal, rather than plastic, in connector areas, and by aggressively promoting their lifetime warranty. Hopefully, this will be a reality someday. Until then, do the research when someone bad mouths Skullcandy headphones because "they break easily." If you accept their rumors without finding out the truth, you may be surrendering some fine headphones that offer equal durability, better style, and superior sound quality for less money than the others.

Nokia Lumia 800 Gets Cheapest Deals on T-Mobile
The first of the Windows powered smart phones from Nokia has now been released in the UK, the new Nokia Lumia 800 now has deals available on O2, Orange and T-Mobile networks with contract offers including free gifts available for consumers to order now.
T-Mobile are the third UK network to launch deals for the new Nokia Lumia and are now offering the cheapest package that includes a free phone, this is on the 'T-Mobile £25 + Internet' tariff which cost £25.53 line rental per month and includes 500 text messages, 500 minutes of calls and 500MB of data allowance for internet usage.

Review of the Ultrasone Pro 750 Full Size Stereo Headphone
The Ultrasone Pro750 headphones cost an impressive 9. However, these ultra-light and foldable headphone have:

DJ Equipment Speakers - Tips For Choosing the Best DJ Speaker Packages on a Budget
One of the most important requirements of a good disco setup is a pair of quality DJ Equipment Speakers. However, contrary to popular belief, you do not need lots of money to get your hands of an extremely effective pair of DJ speakers. It is common for people to opt for two extremes when buying speakers and that is they either go for dirt cheap DJ speakers that are second hand or spend lots of money unnecessarily on the top range JBL DJ speakers. The secret here is to allow a mid range budget for a pair of quality disco speakers from a good DJ outlet and to make sure that they are a well known model from a known manufacturer such as Peavey, Alto or Citronic.
All the mid range speaker manufacturers produce cabinets that will be very capable of giving all the sound requirements for most mobile discos and medium sized venues including night clubs. The most commonly overlooked aspect of choosing good disco speakers is not the speaker itself but the amplification required to drive the speaker/s at optimum levels for maximum efficiency.
As a summary the following are most common speaker options currently available:
2 Way Speaker Cabinets - These units include both a treble and bass cone and an electronic crossover providing sound distribution based on frequency to the individual speaker cones which generally provide a good balanced full range sound output.
Bass Bins - Individual bass cones, usually 12 or 18 inch, that provide solely bass frequency output which you can often feel rather than hear. These bass speakers require relatively large amplification to get the best possible output within their limited sound frequency range.
Active Speakers - These can include both 2 way speaker cabinets and single speakers but primarily the active definition means that they include inbuilt amplification rather than having to hook them up to an external amplifier.
Passive Speakers - Speakers that require external amplification and these are best suited to larger venues or where you already have amplification available.
As you can see there are different speaker options available, based on budget and requirement, but as a general rule most disco or DJ equipment setups include a pair of Passive 2 Way Speaker Cabinets plus a 300w to 600 watt external amplifier. There are some really good DJ speaker packages available at the moment, many including free DJ speaker stands, so you can haggle and get a good speaker package deal that will not break the bank and unlike buying second hand many reputable DJ suppliers will offer solid guarantees and warranties for added peace of mind.
Setting Up Your PC Subwoofer
If you are fond of listening to good music, you know the quality of speakers as they are used. Sometimes even if one has the best sound system, if he does not know how to set it up properly, there will still be a problem with the sound that comes out of it. This is what wrong installation can do.
It is important to set up your PC subwoofer correctly to make the most out of it and to have a higher level of enjoyment as you use it to listen to music or to just listen to the background as you play your favorite online game. The effect and the bass quality can add to the thrill that you can experience while playing.
Compared to treble and midrange, deep bass is less directional. This means that you can place your subwoofer anywhere you like. However, it is important to do some fine tuning to be able to achieve better quality.
The first thing to do is to find the right spot to setup your PC subwoofer. Position your subwoofer to your favorite place in your room, connect and play some music. While the music plays, observe the low frequencies in the different areas of the room.
You will notice that there are spots that have higher lifts of bass because of the interaction of the notes to the room's acoustics. These specific spots are called nodes and these are the best locations for your subwoofer.
When you play music using your PC subwoofer, do not turn the volume too much. Some people just raise the volume to the maximum level thinking that the best quality will come out by doing this. The truth is that this is not true. The bass should not dominate. It is there to just contribute when appropriate. Having too much of it is not a pleasing sound to your ears. Regulate the volume, listen and observe which level will bring out the best combination.
The best approach to test your subwoofer level is by playing a piece of music and playing with the volume. Go to the level where the bass starts to dominate and then bring the level down a bit. It takes your sensitive sense of hearing to determine which level already has too much of bass. If you cannot determine this, you can ask somebody to do it for you. If you think you already have determined the right level, you can still have somebody validate if the right amount of bass is given to the music that you are playing.
It is advisable to test the volume level while you play a familiar music. This way, you will know how the music is supposed to be playing in terms of bass. It will be easier to mix and regulate if you play a familiar sound.
If you found the right node for your subwoofer and you have regulated it at a level that you can fully enjoy the music that it plays, then you have completely and satisfactorily set up your PC subwoofer. However, from time to time you have to check and redo the process to make sure that get the best quality.
