The secure loop is effective if you can find a proper fit and the mic is clear. The overall build of the headphones is solid. My only real gripe is that the paint chips really easily. The B&Ws sound great! That being said, they're not perfect by any means. I found myself feeling like the bass was a bit too boomy for what I'm used to from Bowers and Wilkins but I love them none the less. Also, the highs were pretty sharp so I wasn't a fan of that. Still, they're the best pair of in ear buds I've ever owned and I'd buy them again
