I used a pair of skull candy ear buds that has a telephone mic. I recorded to the Italk app on my iphone on the BEST setting and then synced the sound later in Sony Movie Studio HD. It's works fairly well. I was impressed. I got the idea from someone else on youtube. Oh, and the crackling noise you hear is my iphone jack, is jacked up. It didn't do that on another Iphone. Wating for Iphone 5!!! And of course I can't really tell distance it was more like 75 feet, but you get the idea.
